Man takes cash from register at Dollar General

PEORIA — A man at a Dollar General store grabbed a handful of cash from a register and fled Tuesday morning.Police were called about 11:55 a.m. to the 3419 N. Prospect Road location.The suspect came to the register wearing white gloves and with a pack of razors. He took out a $20 bill as if he was going to pay for the item.When the cashier opened the register, the customer pushed forward, grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and ran.
