HIGH POINT — Police are investigating the afternoon robbery of a High Point business.

A 32-year-old former resource officer in Swain County schools has pleaded guilty to having sex with a 15-year-old student.

Jason Cash of Inman, 24, and Steven Lewis, 29, were arrested Saturday in the death of Carey Mauldin, South Carolina authorities said. 

Four years ago in North Carolina, federal prosecutors tried to persuade a judge that Horn was too dangerous to release, according to the News & Observer.

Investigators said the shooting began as an argument.

A blood test showed Stormie Vancil had several prescription drugs in her system, including oxycodone.

Officials say there were no signs of struggle or foul play in this case.

Ever Yhony Flamenco Guardado, 26, is being held at the Alamance County Jail on $250,000 secured bail.

Officer Michael Brelo, 31, was charged with voluntary manslaughter in the November 2012 deaths of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams after a high-speed car chase.

Jeannette Chaney faces charges in the death of Vernon Brown Jr., according to a news release.
