Officers arrested a Prichard man Thursday morning after he was found hiding in bushes after he allegedly robbed and pistol-whipped two people in the pre-dawn hours, according to the Mobile Police Department.

A woman fought off an attempted sexual assault on Thursday afternoon after a man rang her doorbell and forced his way into her home near the University of South Alabama, according to the Mobile Police Department.

"The patient has been LifeFlighted to Baptist Hospital," Foley Fire Chief Joey Darby said. "He appeared to have some very serious injuries."
