'Emma's last nest': Sea turtle killed by animal, likely coyote, at state park in Gulf Shores

About 6:30 a.m. the injured Loggerhead was discovered near the east end of the Gulf State Park beach, according to Mike Reynolds, director of roughly 450-member Share the Beach sea turtle-monitoring program. The turtle had been attacked after laying a nest and she was named "Emma" by the woman who found her.
