Daylis Uresti hunched over a computer screen, fiddling with a cord connecting a small black drone to the laptop.
The Caldwood Elementary fourth grader explained matter-of-factly what she was doing: "We're coding drones to make them fly."
"I tell them right here what to do, and I can make them do whatever I want" she said, pointing at the screen, where she was selecting commands. Uresti can make a drone fly through small hula hoops hanging from the ceiling, she said, though she was worried about hitting someone in the head in the crowded classroom on Thursday.
