Three Orange County superintendents on Thursday asked state legislators for funding and help with storm-related damage, displacement and emotional trauma, estimating that costs will run into the millions and recovery will take years. "What happens invariably in these storms is that things get picked up and cleaned up and everybody assumes all is well, and it's not going to be. This is going to be a two-to-three-year process," Orangefield ISD's Stephen Patterson told the House Public Education Committee in Austin.
