The Abilene Independent School District Board approved roughly $5.1 million in additions and renovations to Lee Elementary, part of an $87 million bond project previously approved by voters. The project will create a new 15-room classroom addition in front of the current building that should "pretty dramatically change the way Lee looks when it's all completed," said Joe Humphrey, construction coordinator with the district
