Fans show up early to buy crosstown tickets

Michael and Pamela Voils were the first people in line to buy tickets on the Abilene High side for the Sept. 11 game against Cooper for one reason — their grandson marches in the Eagle Band. Tickets for the game went on sale Monday at 5 p.m. on the east side of Shotwell Stadium. There were close to 40 people in the AHS line and about half that number in line for Cooper tickets.
