The Altoona Water Authority recently approved a new slate of rates, rules and regulations for business and industrial customers whose sewage effluent requires pretreatment.

Dickey, law firm get approval to represent Ross

Schools receive opioid antidote

While students overdosing on opioid drugs hasn't been an issue in area schools, a life-saving medicine will make its way into local school nurses' offices, providing an antidote just in case.

 

Decision affects Megan's Law registry guidelines

The public will be "less protected" under a Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision that reduces the number of years some child sexual offenders must register with state police, Blair County First Assistant District Attorney Jackie Bernard said.
