Ypsilanti Township moves closer to AAATA membership and expanded bus service

Ypsilanti Township and the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority are one step closer to providing significantly expanded service in the township.

At their Sept. 9 meeting, the Ypsilanti Board of Trustees approved a resolution requesting membership in the AAATA.

 

Couple wanting private time must stand up to sulking mom

DEAR ABBY: I am a 75-year-old man who lives in a gated community. For the last eight months I have been seeing a woman who lives nearby. We are starting to fall in love.

Our problem is her 95-year-old mother, who lives with her. Her mom is pretty healthy and has some money, but she's scared to be left alone. Because of this, my lady and I have difficulty finding private time.

My Handyman to donate free labor to Scio Township Fire Department

Technicians from My Handyman of Ann Arbor, Saline and Chelsea will partner with My Handyman President Alex Roberts and 16 volunteers from the corporate office in Ann Arbor to donate free repair and maintenance services to the Scio Township Fire Department Tuesday.
