An Amherst County woman has been upgraded to fair condition weeks after she was injured in a train collision, according to a University of Virginia Medical Center spokesperson.

On weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., today through April 20, crews from Lynchburg’s Department of Water Resources will conduct water main valve maintenance downtown according to a news release from the city.
