"You never know where the day will lead you when you walk out of roll call," according to a post on the Troy Police Department's Facebook page.On Saturday, June 30, officers were led to a gas station on John R Road, where a parrot -- more specifically, a sun conure -- landed on a man's shoulder while he was pumping gas.

Clinton Township man killed in hit and run accident on Gratiot

Clinton Township police are investigating a hit and run fatal accident involving a white truck and a pedestrian.The incident occurred on southbound Gratiot Avenue near Wellington Crescent at 12:23 a.m. Monday, police said.
