A Washington Township man who posed as a residential builder has pleaded guilty or no contest in several criminal cases for defrauding people out of thousands of dollars.James M. Ciarmataro, 31, pleaded to charges related to accusations he took money from several Macomb County customers as owner of Maddox Construction but failed to perform the work, and in one case stole from a builder.
