TIVERTON — A 55-year-old Middletown man was identified by police as a suspect in a break-in and theft reported at the Boat House restaurant on Feb. 28.Tiverton police, with the help of the Portsmouth and Middletown police departments, obtained a warrant to search the residence of Lino Loyola. PPROVIDENCE — A Providence woman is accused of stealing her neighbor's ferret and crushing its back, and force-feeding poison to her own dog.Late last month, police found Bear the ferret and Rhody the chihuahua suffering and unable to stand inside Melissa Snead's apartment at 157 Willow St. in Marvin Gardens Apartments. Teen, toddler injured by gunfire into car

PROVIDENCE — An 18-year-old is in serious condition at Hasbro Children's Hospital after a shooting that also injured a toddler in the same car, Providence Police Maj.
