Mass. woman sues Women & Infants Hospital over 13-year delay in disclosing frozen embryo

Marisa Cloutier-Bristol, of North Attleboro, was stunned to learn in 2017 that the Providence hospital's fertility clinic had kept a cryopreserved embryo of hers in storage since 2004, the year she underwent in vitro fertilization treatment. Now 45, she says: "It’s like grieving a child that I could’ve had that I don’t have. I feel completely and totally robbed."
