PAWTUCKET —A Prospect Street man was charged Sunday in the Saturday shooting of a man and a woman in his apartment, according to Detective Sgt. Christopher E. Providence public schools will be closed Monday in anticipation of a snowstorm expected to hit Sunday night and continue into the day, dropping eight inches on most of the state, the mayor's office announced Sunday afternoon.Also, about a dozen communities had already posted parking bans for the storm.
