HIV-infected pop singer convicted

A verdict was expected Thursday in the trial of a German pop star accused of failing to tell sexual partners she has HIV and infecting one of them. Nadja Benaissa, 28, former singer in the girl band No Angels, was given a two-year suspended sentence. She was also ordered to complete 300 hours of community service with people who are HIV-positive.

Senh: That's it? She's not even going to jail? Infecting someone with HIV is almost murder.
