Google Increasing Search Share. YTD Non-mobile Search Results Have Grown 6.7%.

comScore’s February Search Query results have Google increasing it share from 67.0% in January to 67.5% in February. Microsoft edged up from 16.5% to 16.7% while Yahoo! decreased from 12.1% to 11.6%.

Facebook is so large that it now accounts for about one out of every three ad impressions in the U.S., according to the latest statistics from comScore Ad Metrix. In the first quarter of 2011, comScore estimates that 1.1 trillion ads were served to U.S. Internet users, and 346 billion of those (or 31 percent) were on Facebook.

Facebook Hits New Traffic Record

Facebook has more users than ever, says comScore. With its most recent privacy backlash seemingly behind it, Facebook surged ahead to a new traffic record in the U.S. during the month of June. According to comScore, the social network pulled in more than 141 million unique visitors in the U.S. during the month, beating its previous record (set in May) by better than 11 million.

Senh: Impressive. I wonder if it's the social plugins that sparked the privacy concerns the reason for Facebook's growth for the last couple months. Myspace isn't growing anymore, but it seemed to have stabilized, which isn't too bad if the company budget accordingly. Twitter seems like its gotten as big as it could get. Maybe now they can finally focus on monetization.

 

Google Reigns Supreme In 2009 Worldwide Searches But Microsoft Sees Faster Growth

The December 2009 global search stats are out from comScore and unsurprisingly Google took the top spot for total worldwide searches last month, with 87.8 billion searches over Google sites. Google's searches rose 58 percent from December 2008's searches, which totaled 55.6 billion searches.
