HP Claims New Wireless Mice Last Two Years on a Single Charge

The braggadocios Energy bunny likes to beat his drum and tell everyone he can keep going and going and going, but would you have guessed Hewlett-Packard would emerge as the real battery life master? HP just announced a couple of new wireless mice that, amazingly, are supposed to last two years or longer on a single charge, or so the company claims.

 

Faster cellphones to bring a wave of new services and charges

If you think cellphone bills are complicated now, just wait. Within weeks, some of the biggest wireless companies will offer super-fast Internet connections for cellphones that rival the speeds delivered to desktop computers. As competitors follow suit with their own juiced-up networks geared for the Web, consumers can expect a cornucopia of new services - along with new charges.

 

Sprint to Sell Samsung Tablet for $400

Sprint said it plans to sell Samsung's Galaxy Tab tablet for $400, or a third less than Verizon Wireless, though Sprint will require a two-year service contract.

The PC maker hopes to sell its new tablet computer to the public sector as well as consumers.

Senh: It's a tweener - bigger than a smartphone, but smaller than the iPad. I have an HD2, which has 4.3" screen. The Dell Streak is only 5". That's not much bigger than what I have. Is it really a tablet computer? Sounds more like a smartphone. I'm kinda disappointed by Dell. This is no tablet. This is just a bigger smartphone. I was expecting a bit more. Meh. If you already have a smartphone, there's really no reason to get this. The nice thing with the iPad is you can actually browse the web without zooming in and out. The experience on the Dell Streak is not much different than a HD2, Evo, or Droid X, so why bother. For the record, this is a smartphone; it's not a tablet.
