All buildings at the University of Texas at Austin were reopened Friday afternoon after a bomb threat earlier prompted a campus-wide evacuation, officials said.

Two universities, in Texas and in North Dakota, ordered the evacuation of their campuses on Friday after receiving bomb threats.

The San Antonio International Airport was evacuated for about 90 minutes on Wednesday after a caller said three bombs were planted in a parking garage, but police did not find anything dangerous.

A plane at Philadelphia International Airport was evacuated early Saturday after someone called in a bomb threat. Airport officials received a call at approximately 2:00am local time from someone who claimed there was a bomb on a plane, WCAU-TV reported.

An Alaska Airlines flight landed safely on Monday at Oakland International Airport and has been cleared, after a bomb threat aboard the aircraft was called in, an airport spokeswoman said. Alaska Airlines flight 342 was isolated on a taxiway after landing just before 8 a.m. local time and passengers were bused to the terminal, said airport spokeswoman Joanne Holloway. The flight was bound from Seattle to Oakland.

Authorities in Utah evacuated a passenger plane Thursday morning after receiving a bomb threat, an spokeswoman for the Salt Lake City airport said. The SkyWest plane, carrying 46 passengers and three crew members, was en route to Salt Lake City from Helena, Montana, when the threat was "called in," said airport spokeswoman Barbara Gann.

The Eiffel Tower and the park around it were evacuated Tuesday night after a bomb alert, police said.
