Earthquake rattles eastern Kentucky

A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck eight miles west of Whitesburg, Ky., early Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. There were no immediate reports of damage.

Authorities in Kentucky were searching Thursday night for four children from an Amish family who were swept away in a creek swollen by storm waters, state police said.
