Senh: Good thing to do. Violence should not be tolerated at the protests. It'll give the public a bad perception of the Occupy movement.
Senh: This is terrible. It's gotta be peaceful, or it's not gonna succeed. It's gonna tarnish their reputation, and they'll lose support from the masses.
Senh: Everyone's confused about this movement - that goes for local governments and the Occupy movement themselves. Cities aren't sure whether they should let the movement go on unabated or interfere; the Occupy organizers aren't sure if they should protest peacefully or with violence. I vote for doing it peacefully. Otherwise, it'll turn into chaos.
Senh: Tear gas? This is getting violent. It started out peaceful in New York. The protesters shouldn't have thrown rocks and water bottles at the police, though.
