Sarah Rucker had feared for her life for months. In February, the 42-year-old Deltona, Fla., woman had filed domestic battery charges against her estranged husband. Dwayne White was going to kill her the next time he saw her, she told investigators back in February, showing them her neck, red and swollen from White allegedly trying to strangle her.

Prosecutors filed a murder charge Tuesday against a woman found pushing a trash bin that contained human body parts, and detectives are examining whether the remains are those of the woman's ex-boyfriend, who recently disappeared.

A Dallas toddler has died after police say he was dropped in a pot of boiling water. Dallas police told The Dallas Morning News in a story Tuesday that 16-month-old Jabraylon Bables appeared to have been dipped in boiling water. The toddler died Saturday from injuries and infections, 36 days after police say he was deliberately burned.
