Up 'til now, Marvel's been focusing on the grimmer aspects of Iron Man 3 -- including the epic whooping that Ol' Shell-Head's going to take from the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley). But as the latest clip Marvel's doled out makes clear, Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) can give as good as he gets.

The long-running legal battle between comic book genius Stan Lee and the company that bears his name, Stan Lee Media Inc., continues this month as a California federal judge will soon decide whether a trial is necessary to determine who holds the rights to valuable Marvel characters such as Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, Thor, and more.

Disney announced today that it is buying distribution rights to The Avengers and Iron Man 3 from Paramount for $115 million. Paramount will reportedly still earn the 8% and 9% fees it would have received from distributing the films but it won’t have to put in any advertising money or muscle.

Speaking with Britain's SFX magazine recently, Kevin Feige, the president of production at Marvel Studios, spilled some details on the upcoming Avengers flick, including hints at who will be protecting the planet from peril. Thanks to SuperHeroHype, who got their hands on the publication, we can tell you that Feige confirmed that it's going to be "it's three people, four including Hulk , five including Nick Fury - who you have seen before in other movies, coming together for the very first time."
