The only negative is that Sprint will be charging a monthly fee for tethering or using your device as a wifi hotspot, which you can currently get for FREE on Windows Mobile 6.5. If you think you're gonna be using this feature often, then I would stick with the HD2. Although tethering/wifi-hotspot is nice, I find that I actually don't use it much. Most of the time, I only use it as a backup in case my internet access goes down.
