Senh: It's a same. Google started building Chrome OS targeting the netbook market. Now, it seems like the iPad had stolen its thunder. It's gonna be confusing. Tablet manufacturers have already started building Android-powered tablets. Users will be confused and think that Chrome OS will be able to run apps created for Android devices. I think they might have to scrap Chrome OS eventually. It doesn't make sense to have both.
Senh: What a smart move by Google. Sure, they can't get any kind of social networking right - Google Wave's shutdown (OK, they do have Orkut) - but they got mobile right. By giving away Android for free to cell phone makers, they reap the rewards of revenue from mobile search.
Senh: Nice. I hope people don't start making apps that are just mobile versions of their websites. I hate it when I'm redirected to mobile sites. I prefer to view the full site, like on my desktop computer. If I want a mobile version of my site, I wouldn't have bought a smartphone with multi-touch.
