Tarrywile Park Holds Its First Easter Egg Hunt

DANBURY — Over 100 kids, colorful baskets at hand, anxiously waited around Tarrywile Park on Saturday afternoon for the cue from event organizer Meghan Friedland. In a mad dash, the groups started searching for candy-filled Easter eggs in three seperate areas of the park — one for children under 5, another for ages 6 through 8 and a third for ages 9 through 12. All items in the raffle baskets were donated by local businesses, and all profits from raffle tickets, entry fees and Easter bunny photos would be donated to Tarrywile Park.
