Syrians voted Tuesday in a presidential election that is all but guaranteed to hand Bashar Assad another seven-year term. Like most everything in Syria's civil war, the election has been highly divisive and holds little hope of mending the deeply divided nation. Voting is only taking place in government-controlled areas.
