(AP) — The average price of gasoline has dropped 11 cents over the past two weeks to $2.71 a gallon.Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday that the current average sits 81 cents below the year-ago price.The cheapest price recorded in the continental United States was $2.19 a gallon in Charleston, South Carolina.The highest was $3.80 a gallon in Los Angeles.
