A Summit County lawmaker wants the county to start offering six weeks of paid leave for new parents.Councilwoman Elizabeth Walters will introduce legislation Monday calling for the new benefit for non-union workers.She and other county officials said Summit would be the first county in Ohio to provide paid parental leave for both mothers and fathers.
