NORWALK - There traffic problems around the Stroffolino Bridge that had some problems with opening and closing Saturday. As of 12:40 p.m. Saturday, traffic is being detoured away from the bridge. The bridge is a vital link connecting East and South Norwalk. A bridge inspector is enroute to assess the situation with the bridge. There is no word on when the bridge will be fully opened to traffic. Last month, the bridge was stuck in the open position, one of several recent instances of being unable to close. The bridge needs to be open for marine traffic.
