More than 445 flights were delayed or canceled at Denver International Airport late Thursday morning as snow fell across metro Denver and Colorado’s eastern plains. The average delay time for arriving flights was less than 15 minutes, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. A traffic management program was in effect, and FAA officials said this could delay some arriving flights and that departing flight schedules may be affected. There were 445 delayed flights and eight cancellations at DIA as of 11:55 p.m., according to Flight Aware.

Enerplus Corp., which has merged with Chord Energy Corp., is closing its office in Denver, resulting in the loss of 73 jobs over the next several months. A notice submitted this week with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment said starting Jan. 6, all the employees not moving into jobs with Chord Energy outside of Denver will be let go.

Thousands of Coloradans will receive restitution checks from Wyatts Towing in the coming days, part of a $1 million settlement agreement the towing giant reached with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office last year.
