A Sterling Heights man is accused of injuring his toddler daughter and her mother when he backed his SUV with an open rear door out of the mother's driveway, causing the child to fall out in her car seat and be briefly dragged recently.The suspect, Michael P. Kaler, 29, is free on $100,000 bond in the July 7 incident, which police said happened at the mother's house on West Maxlow Street.
