Jacksonville’s waterways, its bridges and the steel structures anchoring the scoreboards at EverBank Field inspired the design of the amphitheater and indoor field the Jaguars and the city are financing, according to the architect working on the project. The design is based on forging a “strong connection between the stadium and the waterfront,” said Jonathan Mallie, principal with Populous, the architectural firm hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars. read more
