There were far fewer moving violations and DUI arrests this Christmas weekend than last year, according to State Police statistics released Tuesday morning. State Police, which bumps up enforcement efforts over the holiday, saw 777 moving violations from midnight Dec. 22 to the morning of Dec. 26. Of those violations, 347 were for speeding infractions and 11 were for seat belt infractions.
