State Encourages Lawn-water Conservation

Rhode Island is encouraging residents to limit lawn watering this summer to conserve water. The state has launched a public awareness campaign to let homeowners know that overwatering not only hurts lawns but wastes a precious resource. The Water Resources Board recommends lawns get no more than 1 inch of water per week.
