Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II (ankle) is expected to play on Thursday night against the Chargers after being listed as a full participant in Denver’s estimated injury report for the third straight day. Starting defensive end John Franklin-Myers (foot) and nose tackle D. J. Jones (finger) were also listed as full participants and expected to play in Denver’s prime-time showdown. Surtain sustained an ankle injury in the fourth quarter of last week’s win against the Colts.

Having never played a match or even practiced with the Colorado Rapids, left back Miguel Navarro is moving on from Major League Soccer. The club announced on Wednesday that Club Atlético Talleres exercised the purchase option on Navarro’s loan, which was set to conclude at the end of the calendar year. Sources told The Denver Post the transfer fee was upwards of seven figures.

Although Colorado has a five-star prep recruit joining the quarterback room, offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said on Tuesday that the Buffaloes were looking to add a veteran to the mix.
