The next trip to the MonsterVerse isn't right around the corner, but at least we now know when it will be. The follow-up to 2024's hit Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (which became the highest-grossing installment of the cinematic universe to date) has been scheduled for release. According to Collider, the monster mash will roar its way into theaters on March 26, 2027.

Jeremy Renner has nothing but love for his Avengers co-stars, and said that their familial bond is real and not just a stunt for social media. Renner plays Clint Barton/Hawkeye in the MCU, who first appeared in 2011's Thor. Since his first appearance, Hawkeye has become an integral member of the Avengers, and finally helmed a standalone adventure in the Disney+ series Hawkeye.

Jackson played Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there were rumors that George Clooney was considered to play the Marvel superspy and legendary comic book creator Garth Ennis weighs in on the rumor that his 2001 Fury miniseries was the reason the actor turned down the part.

Austin Butler was up for a role in the original Hunger Games film, but the odds were not in his favor. In an interview with Buzzfeed, Butler revealed he auditioned for the role of Peeta Mellark, but failed to win over producers. Josh Hutcherson won the role, appearing in the four original Hunger Games films.

A Quiet Place: Day One looks to be doing as well with general audiences as it is with critics. Variety reports that the film roared on Thursday night with a whopping $6.8 million opening from preview shows. Martin Mull, a musician and comedic actor best known for roles in the film Clue and the TV series Roseanne, has passed away at the age of 80 after a lengthy illness. A cause of death was not disclosed. His daughter, Maggie Mull, herself a co-executive producer and writer for the animated series Family Guy, announced his passing on her Instagram:
