Lamm, the Dolphins’ starting right tackle down the stretch this season, was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, ending his season ahead of Sunday’s regular-season finale against the New York Jets (4-12). Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire Department officials told a news conference that a person died inside the futuristic-looking pickup truck and they were working to get the body out.

A New Year’s Eve fireworks explosion in a Honolulu-area neighborhood killed at least three people and critically injured 20 others, authorities said.
