Stories Related to Stamford Police Seek Id In Pedestrian’s Death

STAMFORD - A pedestrian was struck and killed on High Ridge Road late Thursday night and police are asking for the public’s help to identify the victim. Just before 11:30 a.m. the pedestrian was crossing High Ridge Road, from west to east, near the Burger King restaurant. A 2008 Toyota Prius traveling northbound struck the pedestrian, who was not within a crosswalk. The man suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The pedestrian was not carrying any identification and Stamford police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the victim. He is described as an Asian male, age 60 to 70 years old, with gray, hair medium length and a receding hair line.
