Stamford Collects 220 Pounds Of Unused Medicine

STAMFORD — More than 220 pounds of medicine was collected at the police department Saturday during national National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, the mayor’s office said. “With opioid abuse at epidemic levels, it is so important for residents to drop off unwanted, unneeded or expired medications for safe disposal,” Mayor David Martin said in a news release.
