STAMFORD — A “swap shop” may soon be established on Magee Avenue, a place where residents could drop off or acquire furniture, sporting goods, toys and other discarded items for free. A $12,000 grant from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection would be used to purchase a shed for 90 Magee Ave., the site of the city’s highway department garage.
