Well, it was always going to be a bit of a buggy mess wasn’t it? We aren’t really sure it was ever going to be anything else at launch, but history tells us eventually we should get a fine game. One of the initial problems out of the traps that many Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl players are facing is that the game is just too dark for them to see virtually anything. Firstly, problems aside, Stalker 2 is a dark game anyway and you can use your flashlight to good effect – find out how best to operate it right here – but there does seem to be an issue that needs a little patcheroo to sort out and that revolves around the HDR not working. HDR not working in Stalker 2 Now we haven’t managed to get any clarity on how many players it is affecting right now but HDR definitely seems to be on the borked side for some – we just don’t know what the hardware mix that is triggering the problem is right now. The problems start with people not being able to turn on HDR in Windowed Mode.
