share: digg facebook twitter “Simplemente Lara,” José Rubén De León's (left) popular show exploring the life and music of Mexican composer Agustin Lara, has been more or less on hold for the past few years while pianist Aaron Prado (center) was away for graduate school. (The pianist's dad, bassist George Prado, right, will be back, as well.) This weekend marks the 75th time that the trio has done the show; as it happens, this month is also the 75th anniversary of the death of Spanish writer Federico Garcia Lorca, and so De León will also revive his powerful solo show, “Lorca,” next weekend.
