A St. George man was charged Thursday with raping a Dixie State University student who met up with him after chatting on the dating application Tinder. Dixie State police arrested Samuel Heber Butler, 21, on Wednesday for the incident that allegedly occurred the evening of January 9. He was charged Thursday in 5th District Court with one count of rape, a first-degree felony.
