Southbound Interstate 225 has reopened after closing because of a three-vehicle crash in Aurora, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The interstate closed at 17th Place, mile point 10, in Aurora around 6 a.m. because of a three-vehicle crash with multiple injuries, according to the Aurora Police Department. The road reopened around 6:53 a.m., according to an update from the department. Police were diverting traffic onto the 17th Place exit, where drivers could immediately get back onto the interstate.
