Stories Related to Sources: Ex-hp Ceo Hurd Settles With Contractor

Hewlett-Packard Co.'s former Chief Executive Officer Mark Hurd has reached a legal settlement with the woman who accused him of sexual harassment, and she has also agreed to release HP from legal claims, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Senh: Reading the article, if Mark Hurd didn't resign, it would seemed like a trivia matter. The discrepancy in expenses only amounted to about $20,000. Hurd's camp also has innocent explanations for everything suspicious involving him and his accuser. That's what happens when a case is settled; the two sides make it seemed like nothing had happened. Obviously, the two had sexual relations. If not, he wouldn't have abruptly resigned. Hurd is married with two kids; he's gonna need this time off to repair his marriage.
