"Sorry" was written in lipstick on the hotel room where the bodies of Adam Rupeka, a Capital Region police critic, and his girlfriend were found, according to a news release issued by prosecutors in Tijuana, Mexico. Police originally opened a murder investigation into the deaths of Rupeka, 36, and Jennifer Ogburn, 26, but that was dropped after autopsies were performed on the couple, according to the Attorney General's Office for Baja California in Tijuana. Police found two baggies with residues of a substance, an open bottle of liquor and a container of orange juice, the statement said. On a dressing table mirror written in lipstick in all capital letters was "Take out ids+ money get rid of bodys no one kno(w)s we ever in Mexico sorry," the release said.
