Son Breaks Into Shippan Home In Stamford

STAMFORD-A city homeless man was charged with burglary after he allegedly broke into his parents Shippan home early Tuesday afternoon. Sgt. Jennifer Pinto said police were called to Fairview Avenue at about 1 p.m. yesterday when a resident heard a window being broken in her home. The 60-year-old woman ran upstairs and hid behind a locked door in her bedroom and called 911. When police got there they spotted a man ducking behind a Jeep parked in the driveway of the home and took the man into custody. Police came to find out that the man was the woman’s son, Steven Beaumont, 30, of no known address. “He’s not welcome there anymore.
