BEGIN SLIDESHOW Solo launches to $148 million worldwide Disney and Lucasfilm‘s Solo: A Star Wars Story has launched across the galaxy with the studio reporting a weekend estimated total of $83.3 million for the release domestically, factoring in the Memorial Day holiday Disney estimates have the film’s domestic weekend gross at $101 million across the four days. For comparison, the three other Disney/Lucasfilm features, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, have all opened to $247.9 million, $155 million, and $220 million respectively at the domestic box office.
